Policies
Frequently asked questions
The essentials at a glance. Tap a question for the full answer, or read the complete Store policies below.
How are your prices so low?
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. All items are new unless specifically stated otherwise, and any warranty issue, replacement, or repair must be handled directly through the manufacturer.
We're a small team with little overhead. We don't have to pay for teams of marketing, sales and warehouse folks.
While we keep our popular items on-hand, we also leverage wholesale partners to fulfill orders. This saves us money on inventory costs and allows us to offer you a significantly larger assortment. This also means we sometimes have less control over how fast it goes out the door.
We take these steps to pass along savings to you; we think you'll agree the prices are worth it!
What is your cancellation policy?
A 10% cancellation fee will be charged for orders canceled before processing begins. This covers credit card processing costs (which are not refunded to us on a cancellation), administrative time, and any fees we may incur from distributors for canceling an order. Orders cannot be canceled once processing has begun.
For additional details, please reference the Order cancellation and fees header below.
What is your return policy?
All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer refunds. All items are new unless specifically stated otherwise, and any warranty issue, replacement, or repair must be handled directly through the manufacturer.
See Returns and Warranty for new firearms and products for details.
How long will my order take to ship?
We aim to ship as quickly as possible. Every product page shows its own estimate. Items on our shelf usually ship in 1 to 3 business days. Most other items ship in 1 to 5 business days. While we keep our popular items on hand, we also use wholesale partners to fill orders, which means we sometimes have less control over how fast a package goes out the door. We do this to pass along savings to you - we think you'll agree the prices are worth it!
Some brands ask that we ship their products ourselves, which adds a few days. Expect 5 to 7 business days to ship on items from Barrett, Beretta USA, Colt, Crimson Trace, Flux Defense, GLOCK, Holosun, Holosun Technologies, Olight, OLIGHTSTORE USA INC, SIG SAUER, Sig Sauer Airguns, Sig Sauer Electro-Optics, SIG SAUER OFF-DUTY. Expect 5 to 7 business days to ship on firearms from Browning, FN, Heckler and Koch (HK USA), IWI, KIMBER MFG.,INC, Marlin, Ruger, Smith & Wesson, Tikka T3, Walther Arms, Winchester.
Firearms ship to your FFL dealer, and the clock starts once we have your dealer's license on file. Expect 10 to 15 business days to ship on NFA items (suppressors, SBRs), which includes the ATF Form 3 approvals.
Business days exclude weekends and holidays. Orders placed after 2:00 PM Central count from the next business day. This is an estimate, not a guarantee.
Please reach out to [email protected] for specifics before placing your order.
While we make every effort to ensure packages are shipped quickly, we cannot guarantee delivery by a certain date. If you have a competition or hunting trip scheduled, please plan accordingly and allow extra time for your items to be delivered. See Order fulfillment for details.
How much do you charge for shipping?
Our shipping rates start at $14.99 (tens of thousands of items qualify). Depending on the items in your cart and location, your charge may be higher. See Standard shipping for details.
What is shipping protection?
Shipping protection is an optional charge at checkout. If your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, we'll replace the items or refund them. See Shipping protection for details.
Which states do you ship to?
We ship only to the continental United States. Some items may ship to Hawaii or Alaska at our discretion. Orders outside these parameters will be canceled with applicable fees.
California: We only ship optics and accessories to California. No ammo, firearms or parts.
Washington: We cannot ship firearm components with the features covered under the definition of assault rifle to Washington.
If you are unsure if we can ship an item to your state, please contact us before placing your order. See State restrictions for details.
What if a picture or description looks wrong?
We only guarantee that you will receive the item matching the UPC number you ordered. Pictures and descriptions can occasionally contain errors, please verify them against the UPC with the manufacturer or contact us to confirm before ordering. We do not accept returns or issue refunds due to inaccuracies in pictures or descriptions.
See Online price and description errors for details.
Do you have any coupons or promo codes?
Not frequently. We want everyone to have access to the best prices, so we try to offer those to everyone with no additional steps. If you see a brand with an "Email for price" button, we encourage you to click it or email us at [email protected] to find out our best price.
How do I buy a firearm online?
Firearms can't ship to your door. They ship to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you for pickup. Not sure where to send it? Use our FFL Finder.
After you order, we will contact your dealer to obtain a copy of their FFL (if not already on hand). It is always appreciated if you ask them to send their license to [email protected] as well. We will reach out to you if we have trouble contacting them. You are responsible for choosing an FFL that will accept your transfer.
See Purchasing firearms online for details.
Can I pick up my order in person?
We're an online store, so there's no walk-in showroom. Pickup is by appointment only and needs our approval before you come by. Please contact us to set a time.

- You agree to pay the applicable cancellation fee (10% for unprocessed orders) plus any shipping or related charges if your cancellation request is approved by Locke Arms.
Online price and/or description errors
- Due to limited stock, if multiple orders are placed for the same item, we fulfill the first fully funded order with complete information. If an item is out of stock, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund. For multi-item orders, we may, at our discretion, fulfill in-stock items and refund out-of-stock items.
- Occasionally, items, or their descriptions or images, may contain errors or appear on the site by mistake.

Shipping & delivery
Order fulfillment
- Orders ship within 1 to 7 business days via UPS, FedEx, USPS, or other carriers, as determined by Locke Arms. NFA items take 10 to 15 business days.
- Shipping is charged per order, based on the types of items in your cart, and is shown at checkout.
- Your order may ship in more than one package. Firearms ship to your FFL dealer; other items ship to you.
- If the receiving party is unavailable, you are responsible for new arrangements and additional shipping costs. If a replacement is unavailable, the order will be canceled with applicable fees.
Orders without shipping protection
- If you decline shipping protection, Locke Arms is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft once your order is delivered to the carrier. You must file any claim with the carrier, which typically limits coverage to $100.
- You are responsible for extra shipping charges for large or oversized orders not calculated at checkout. Canceling such orders incurs cancellation fees.
Shipping protection
- If a protected order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, Locke Arms will replace the affected items or refund their purchase price.
- One fee covers every package in your order, including a firearm shipping to your FFL dealer.
- Coverage ends when the carrier confirms delivery. Packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery are not covered.
- Report damage with photos to [email protected] within 24 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery.
- Report a lost package within 7 days of its expected delivery date.
- If a firearm arrives damaged, do not complete the transfer. Completing the transfer of a damaged firearm voids coverage.
- The shipping protection fee is not refunded when a claim is paid. It is refunded if your order is canceled before anything ships.
Non-firearm shipping
- We ship accessories, but not ammunition to P.O. Boxes; such orders will be canceled with applicable fees.
- Ammunition, items containing lithium batteries, or other items determined by carriers or regulation as hazardous, will ship via ground service and/or according to carrier requirements.
Proof of delivery
- You must provide a secure delivery point. Carrier "Delivered" status is legally binding proof of delivery.
- Locke Arms is not responsible for theft or mishaps after delivery.
- Optics orders may require restricted delivery, with the cardholder showing ID and signing. Failure to comply may result in cancellation and fees.
Risk of loss
- Title passes to you when your order is delivered to the carrier. Risk of loss passes to you at the same time, unless your order has shipping protection; then it passes when the carrier confirms delivery.
